What is unique about your church that you bring to the broader body of Christ? And, what from the broader body of Christ can you draw from and be strengthened by?

Chrishan Jeyaratnam joined us this week from Hillsong East Coast where he and his wife Danielle serve as Lead Pastors.

Chrishan shared with us about:

  • Leading people through grief

  • Reckoning with distrust

  • Seeking transformation as a community

It’s a conversation that leads us to reflect on the unique charism of our churches in our cities, and how we are mutually strengthened as we grow in friendship with other church traditions.

Chrishan and his wife Danielle have served at Hillsong Church for many years, most recently as the Lead Pastors at Hillsong East Coast USA where they have been pastoring for the past 3 years. Before moving to New York with their four daughters, Chrishan and Danielle previously pastored at Hillsong Church Perth in Australia. As a family, they are committed to loving God and people, and to and living the adventure that it is to build His Church.

This episode was made possible by our friends at the Canadian Bible Society who help millions of people access the Word of God, grasping its message of love and embracing its power to meet them in their need.

We thought you might find the Bible Course they made useful for people in your churches. It’s an eight-session course that helps people engage more deeply with scripture - whether they’re well-versed or brand new. Check it out here.
